FO: Lily Cardigan

Wow, this took FOREVER!   It was a saga of endless stockinette in DK weight yarn, ripping back a nearly-finished sweater to redo the shaping and edging, and procrastination extraordinaire.

Sorry about the neighbors’ garbage can in the photo.  It’s about 5F outside – not a lot of time to be picky.

All details can be found on my Ravelry project page.

Happy Monday everyone!

  1. I love it – it looks great on you!

  2. You both look great with each other! Stay warm!

  3. It’s wonderful, our Nora! Totally worth the extra work.

  4. SOLD! You just got me to buy the pattern. I not only don’t mind endless stockinette — it’s my favorite. I’m whacked, I know. But it’s totally my look, too (Simple Sweaters R Us) and I am positive I have lots of yarns in the stash that are right for this. Now I just need to finish the sweaters already on the needles and for the tendinitis to remain at bay, and that is lookin’ good at the moment. Fingers crossed. 🙂

Very pretty! Seems it was worth the wait!

  6. It’s a winner, Nora! Your extra effort to make it right was worth it. I hope it is keeping you warm!

  7. Beautiful Nora! Both the sweater and you. 😀 That is an amazing color on you. 😀

  8. Pretty! Nice work, Nora. Stay warm! ;D
